Der Kunstschaffende

Die Malerei und räumlichen Kreationen die Sie auf dieser Seite sehen, entstammen dem Geiste eines Künstlers der sich selbst als Artesanos betrachtet und bezeichnen würde. Geboren im Jahr 1975, in Halle an der Saale, veröffentlicht er seine Werke unter dem Pseudonym Stan Fordlaw (S.F.).

Vorwiegend im Abstrakten malend, entstehen seine Kreaktionen meist über Nacht, oder im Zeitraum eines einzigen Gedankens. Die meisten Werke bleiben unbenannt und "frei" von Deklaration und Einordnung in "Schubladen" der Kunstklassifizierung. Sie sind weder als Teil eines Ganzen, noch als Gesamtwerk zu betrachten, sie sind eher als eine Momentaufnahme eines Gefühles, eines Blickes, einer Wahrnehmung sowohl in die Vergangenheit und die Zukunft zu sehen. Ein Aufleuchten einer Utopie-Sekunde.

Neben der Malerei entstehen vor allem in SandArt einige Werke, die jedoch bewusst vergänglich konzipiert werden. So entstehen Gebilde im normalen Strandsand, an Ostseeküste oder auch auf den breiten Stränden von Fuerteventura.

Eines seiner neuen Felder der Ausdrucksform ist die mediale, aktivistische Kunstform, die eng an das Prinzip der The Yes Men angelehnt ist.

The Creator

The paintings and spatial creations on view for you at this webpage originate from the imagination of an artist who considers himself an Artesanos and would describe himself as such.  Born in 1975 in Halle (Saale), he publishes his work under the pseudonym Stan Fordlaw (S.F.).

Painted predominantly in the abstract, Stan’s creations emerge most often overnight—or in the passing of a single thought.  Most of the works remain unnamed and “free” from any particular art classification, stylistic declaration or pigeonholing.  They shouldn’t be considered part of a master opus or grand vision but rather a snapshot of a feeling, a moment’s glance, a perception to be experienced in past, present and future—an illumination of a utopian second of time.

Alongside the painting, and above all in Sand Art, are a few works whose ephemeral and fleeting quality is deliberately conceived.  Arising from this conception are the buildings and landscape forms constructed with normal beach sand—on the Baltic Sea Coast or on the wide beaches of Fuerteventura, Spain.

One of Stan’s new areas of artistic expression is the media-activist art form inspired by the courageous and creative political actions of The Yes Men.
